Job listings will usually be approved within one business day. Currently, it is not possible for employers to edit or remove their own job posting. Please contact us at student-employmentgordon.edu or at 978. 867.4281 once your job has been filled so we can remove your posting. If you are not satisfied with the response to your ad, we can bump your ad to the top of the list once a week has passed. If you need further or more timely assistance, please contact us. Childcare positions will be posted for 14 days. Summer jobs will be posted for 60 days during the school year. All other positions will be posted for 30 days.

Gordon College students, graduates, faculty, or staff are not permitted to advertise positions on behalf of community members. All job postings must be made by the prospective employers themselves, using their own names and contact information.
Please keep in mind that we can only approve job postings that comply with the Statement of Life and Conduct at Gordon College. Commission-only jobs will not be approved. Pay rate must be at least minimum wage ($8/hr). Please see the chart below for more information about suggested pay rates. Students are more likely to respond to an actual pay rate or range of pay rates than to "to be determined," "negotiable" or "competitive" pay.
Every year we compile data on how much students work in off-campus jobs acquired through our job board. To that end, we will be contacting all job posters each summer to inquire as to whether the job was filled by a Gordon College student and for an estimate of how much students have earned in the year from the job(s) posted. The Student Employment Office provides a listing service only and does not provide screenings or perform background checks for employees or employers. All hiring and compensation for work is handled directly between the student and the employer. Students and employers are both encouraged to request references and to individually assess the quality and integrity of each job opportunity / applicant. However, if you have a negative experience with a student which you would like to discuss, you may reach the Student Employment Coordinator at 978.867.4278.

Language Tutoring: $25–30/hour
