The mission of the Highland Express is to provide Gordon students with safe, fun, local access to shopping, activities and travel in a reliable, efficient way in the local community of Hamilton / Wenham and the greater Boston area.
The onDemand Highland Express schedule will will run every Friday, Saturday & Sunday when undergraduate classes are in session.
Service changes due to weather or unforeseen circumstances will be sent by email.

The onDemand service from the Highland Express will run during the times listed above. During the operational hours, the Gordon Community can request a ride to various locations within our service area by using their smartphone or by calling the Gordon Operator at 978-867-4000 (who can enter the onDemand ride into the Highland Express system). Rules of the Road:

Please request rides to and from these locations to streamline the local shuttle service. For other locations, find pickup and drop-off locations easily accessible and safe for our vans and drivers
2) Highland Express drivers will wait up to 5 minutes at the designated pickup locations. Please request rides when you are prepared to depart and are in the pickup location.
3) The Highland Express is a Gordon College service; riders should present their Gordon College ID when riding the van. Guests, visitors and families may ride the Highland Express as long as one person with a Gordon College ID is present in the party.
4) When using the TransLoc Rider app, type your pick up and drop off addresses instead of using the drag-drop pins. This will help to optimize the transportation route, getting to you and others faster. For example, when requesting a pickup (or drop off) at Gordon College, search for Gordon College and select "Gordon College (Pickup in Chapel Loop)" as the location.

Q1) I have been waiting a while and am not sure if my request was received, should I cancel and re-request?
A1) If you are worried about your request, do not cancel and re-request as this will put you to the bottom of the request list and will cause you to wait even longer.
Q2) I do not have a phone, how can I book a ride on Highland onDemand?
A2) If you do not have a device to download the TransLoc Rider app, you can call the Gordon College operator at 978-867-4000 and they can book a ride for you.
Q3) Can I make an advance reservation for Highland onDemand?
A3) Highland onDemand does not support advanced reservations. You need to request a ride during our operating hours (see above)
