Daniel P. Lindstrom, Ph.D.
Years at Gordon: 1995-2001
Kelly Ilseman, class of 1998
I still haven't made it to Southeast Asia yet (should have gone on your Phillipines trip). Someday I'll make it over there! Thanks for your devotion to experiential learning and igniting that passion within so many students! Whenever I hear about the Gobi fish and Hawaii I think of your classes!
Melissa (Pratt) Pratt-Zossoungbo, class of 2003
I still talk about the semester I spent abroad with Dr. Lindstrom. I feel lucky to have been a part of the first and only semester in Dumegete City, Philippines. I can vividly remember the smell of the 360 pound blue marlin that we took apart and never got back together. Dr. Lindstrom was a great prof with a passion for marine biology.
Mindy Hofsass, class of 2004
I am so grateful that I was able to have one of your classes before you relocated. Zoology was the first science class that I took at Gordon, and I loved it. Gordon lost a fantastic professor when your semester program was cancelled. Thank you for all of the advice over the years, and for being an amazing professor.
