Credo Reference is a giant online reference library that provides access to as many as 359 reference books, including encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri, books of quotations, as well as a range of subject-specific titles all cross-referenced throughout the collection. Special features include a crossword solver and conversion calculators.
Curriculum Resource Center: Grades 6-12
Contains hundreds of maps, charts, and images that you can use to supplement lectures and present material in new and creative formats. You will find here a wide array of information - from how to perform a famous scientific experiment to the rules of baseball to how a bill is debated in Congress. Search for entries on a particular topic, or browse this database for new ideas.
Curriculum Resource Center: Junior Edition
An electronic library of curriculum-related handouts for elementary teachers and students seeking material to supplement their lessons. Its expansive collection of visual content-including people and events in history, maps and flags, timelines, science diagrams, science projects, career ideas and other handouts-can be saved in a password-protected folder, emailed, or printed and used for worksheets, overheads, and testing. Web links direct users to some of the web's best educational sites.
