John Truschel, CFA, is the principal and portfolio manager for Mercer Investment Management. He previously served as the chief investment officer and head of global investment strategy for The Boston Company Asset Management, where he directed investment activity and managed the firm’s product development, quantitative research and portfolio engineering teams. Prior to his decade-long tenure at The Boston Company, he worked for Standish Mellon Asset Management, The Tower Group, Fidelity Investments Institutional Services and Federated Investors.
Mr. Truschel also serves as an independent investment strategist and asset management consultant, helping companies evaluate potential acquisitions and joint ventures, and communicate with clients, prospects and consultants. He is a member of the CFA Institute, Boston Economic Club, Boston Committee on Foreign Relations and Boston Security Analysists Society.
