Global Honors Institute Overview
Learn more about the programmatic and academic offerings through the A. J. Gordon Scholars and Global Honors Scholars programs. Meet Global Honors Institute Director Bill Barker and Dean of Student Success Chris Carlson.

9:55 a.m.

Meet Your Future Classmates (students only)
Get to know other admitted students as you work in teams on a fun group activity.

Parent Mingle and Coffee Break (parents only)
Get to know other parents and enjoy some pastries and coffee. The honors directors will also be available to meet you during this time.  

10:50 a.m.

Career Services
Hear from President Michael Lindsay and learn how our new Career Services initiative, Avodah, will advance the lives and careers of Gordon College students.

Overnight Check-in (students only)
Get a taste of residence life by staying overnight with a current student. Check-in at the Ken Olsen Science Center.

High Tea with the President (students only)
Students are invited to enjoy high tea with President Lindsay, honors program directors and students.

Parent Dinner (parents only)
Parents are invited to have dinner in the Lane Student Center Tupper Dining Hall. 

5:45 p.m.

Christmas at Gordon
Join the ourcommunity as we celebrate Christmas at Gordon. Fun activities include a bonfire and s'mores, hayrides, a family photo station, warm holiday beverages and live performances. 

6:45 p.m.

Christmas Gala
The Department of Music presents its Annual Christmas Gala—an event that has become a staple of the Christmas celebration on the North Shore. Carol singing and Christmas readings are also a highlight of this performance. Complimentary tickets are reserved for honors candidates who have chosen to attend on their registration form. The Gala is currently sold out.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 30

Honors interviews and campus tours are available from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m in the lobby of Frost Hall. Honors candidates are able to sign up for an interview time on their one visit registration form. Campus tours will be available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2

Honors interviews and campus tours are available from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the lobby of Frost Hall. A continental breakfast will be provided.
