Travel with co-leaders Provost Janel Curry and Alice Tsang (Economics and Business) along with Ambassador for the College Rebecca Lindsay, for a broad range of cultural experiences in Hong Kong and Macau.
Learn about: Hong Kong's diverse culture, Christianity in China, urban planning in Hong Kong, the Asian population crisis, and the roles of women in one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities.
Visit: The Peak, Nan Liam Garden, Museum of History, Lantau Island, Big Buddha, Tao O Village.
Experience: a day in Macau, lunch at the Mandarin Oriental, Chinese dim sum, high tea at the Ritz-Carlton, shopping on Canton Road and Ladies' Street.
Cost per person:
Single occupancy room: US $3,400
Double occupancy room: US $2,700
Cost excludes airfare but includes lodging, most meals, events, tours and group transportation. Participants are responsible for booking their own flights. (Plan to leave the U.S. on March 6 and arrive at Hong Kong on March 7 between 4 and 8:30 p.m.)
