The Gordon Athletics Homecoming Golf Classic is a wonderful opportunity for alumni, family and friends to share a day of great golf and fun fellowship. Registration is open online and sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting .

Free Use of the Bennett Center
The Bennett Center fitness room and racquetball courts will be open to all alumni (even those without membership) throughout the day and the pool will be open from 12–2 p.m. One-year Bennett Center memberships will be on sale at the Bennett Center for 20% off—this offer good September 27 and 28 only!
*The basketball courts will be closed from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. and the rock wall will be closed all day due to staff running the Flying Squirrel and Adventure Swing outside.

Center for Balance, Mobility and Wellness Open House
Need a new idea for your exercise program or want to test your balance? Interested in knowing what Gordon is doing to help seniors in the area who are at risk for falls? Then stop by the Center for Balance, Mobility and Wellness (CBMW) during Homecoming. At the Center you can check out our fitness equipment, try one of our balance training activities, and learn about our Community Wellness program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Maybe you'll know of someone who could benefit from what you learn! Refreshments will be served. Kinesiology alumni, we would love to see you there as well!

However, if you register for Homecoming by September 20th, each person in your registration will receive a coupon for 1 FREE! Captain Dusty’s ice cream. Pick up your coupon at the Welcome Tent and redeem it at Dusty’s booth on the Quad on Saturday, September 28.

Rising from the Ashes Film Screening
Rising from the Ashes is the award-winning film that tells the story of the Rwandan cycling team. It is a story about redemption and reconciliation, not just for those from the genocide, but also of their coach, Jacques Boyer, who is the first American to have been in the Tour de France.
