History Alive! is the professional acting branch of the Gordon College Department of Theatre. Students have the opportunity to gain valuable acting experience in world renowned productions as well as learn from professionals in the field. Alumni, full time actors and students from schools in the area also eligible to participate. Cry Innocent, the troupe's signature production is described in full below. CRY INNOCENT
The year is 1692. Bridget Bishop has been accused of witchcraft and the audience sits on the Puritan jury. They hear the historical testimonies, cross-examine the witnesses and decide the verdict. The actors respond in character to all comments and questions, revealing much about the Puritan mind. Play your part in history...

A must see for everyone, Cry Innocent is the longest continuously-running show north of Boston. Featured on the Discovery Channel, the Travel Channel, A&E, Nickelodeon, TLC, NPR, BBC, CNN and MTV. Cry Innocent: The People versus Bridget Bishop was commissioned by Norman Jones, professor of theatre and was written by Mark Stevick, professor of English. The 2008 production is directed by Mark Stevick and under the artistic direction of Kristina Wacome Stevick.

ADMISSION
$9 adults, $8 seniors/students/members of a group exceeding 15 people.
Children under 6 are free.
Visitors to the Phillips House, two-for-one admission.
Discounted combination tickets (one dollar off each ticket) available for performances of "Folkways: A Day in the Life of the Early Colonists" at Pioneer Village.
Combination ticket includes free shuttle service aboard the Salem Trolley, between the Old Town Hall and Pioneer Village.
SCHEDULE
Summer: Daily except Wednesdays and Thursdays. June 28--August 23. 11:30, 1:30 and 3:00. No 11:30 on Sundays
September: Saturdays only. 11:30, 1:30 and 3:00.
October: Daily except Mondays, October 3-31. 11:00 and 1:00. 3:00 and 4:00 available on Saturdays and Sundays. Further shows added in the event of sell-outs.
LOCATION
Cry Innocent is performed the Old Town Hall, 32 Derby Square, Salem, Massachusetts. The box office cart is located on the Essex Street side of the building.
