Gordon Experience Day

    Register for Coast to Coast if you are flying 1,000+ miles.

 
Register for Gordon Caravan If you live in CT, NJ or PA.

 
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn firsthand about our majors and concentrations, meet current students and faculty, and tour Gordon’s campus. You’ll also learn how you can lead a student ministry; study abroad; hike, canoe or kayak on a two-week expedition in the Adirondack Mountains; and more. Request an overnight stay or just come for the day.



Gordon Experience Day Schedule

Schedules are subject to change. You will receive your final schedule upon arrival.

8:15 a.m.

Check in and Welcome 
Join us for an address from Gordon College administrators and our student body president.

9:10 a.m.

Visit a Class (students)
Please refer to your "Visit a Class" handout, which you will receive at check in, for class options.

9:10 a.m.
The Application Process & Scholarships (parents)
This session will highlight the application process and merit-based scholarships.

10:20 a.m.

Chapel/Convocation
Dr. Stan Gaede

11:15 a.m

Sibling Session
Siblings are invited to have lunch and participate in age appropriate activities.

11:25 a.m.–
1:25 p.m.

*Parent Luncheon: Catered lunch with other visiting parents.

*Student Lunch: Enjoy lunch in our dining hall with current students.

*Campus Tour: A guided tour with a current student.

*There are multiple lunch and campus tour times, which will be noted on your schedule at check in.

1:30 p.m.

Gordon Student Panel
Meet current Gordon students and discover why they chose Gordon. Panelists will share their experiences and welcome questions.

2:10 p.m.

Academic & Student Life Session
Meet with faculty from each of our majors and staff members from student activities, programs and services on campus. Don't forget to pick up your Gordon College t-shirt.

3:20 p.m.

Art Portfolio Review
An opportunity for prospective art students to have their portfolio critiqued by one of our art professors. Please note: this is a preliminary portfolio review and does not replace the portfolio requirement that prospective art majors must mail in. You may sign up for a review at the Art table at the Academic & Student Life session.

3 p.m.

Visit Admissions
Thank you for visiting with us! Stop by the Admissions Office from 3–4:30 p.m. to drop off your survey and connect with an admissions counselor at the end of your day.
