FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL
February - March 2008
The Tournées Festival was made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Ministry of Culture (CNC), the Florence Gould Foundation, the Grand Marnier Foundation, highbrow entertainment, agnès b. and the Franco-American Cultural Fund.
The goal of our festival is to present viewers with different opportunities to learn more about French and Francophone societies and to contrast the Francophone and American ways of life. Through discussions following the films, we hope to create an engaging atmosphere where students, faculty, staff and community members can share their views. We ultimately look forward to providing our campus and community with an interesting event promoting French and Francophone culture.
All films will be shown in French with subtitles in English. Admission is free.
All film screenings are at 7p.m. in Barrington Center for the Arts room 138 (cinema room).
