The Faculty Film Series provides an occasion for faculty to use film as a vehicle to share their interests (professionally and personally) with the greater Gordon community.
Each semester, the program includes films which may be unfamiliar to the community as well as mainstream films, viewed in a new context. The semester’s films create a series in which each movie is understood in the framework of the programming selections as a whole. We will promote discussion and analysis of cinema as a valuable cultural art form as we reflect on how to engage with these specific films from the context of a Christian worldview.SPRING 2013 SERIES
This semester's film series will be led by faculty from the Department of Philosophy. All films are screened in the Barrington Cinema Theater (BCA 138) and offer Christian Life and Worship credit.
