Faith in Active Civic Engagement (FACE)
FACE is a public speakers series sponsored by the Gordon IN Boston program. The focus of the GIB program is to offer leadership training and experiential pedagogies that explore the possibility of Sustainable Cities. This effort is applied to a variety of areas, including: religious, social, political, economic and agricultural sustainability.
The speakers series is organized as a public forum with the intention of bringing to the city of Boston experts capable of addressing a particular question in urban sustainability from a Christian perspective. Secondarily, the series will reflect on Gordon College’s presence in the city, and raise the profile of respectful conversation around particularly difficult discussions.
