As part of the Old Town Hall Lecture Series, Gordon's Institute for Public History presents Emerson “Tad” Baker, a historical archaeologist and professor of history at Salem State University. He is well-known in academic circles for his extensive work on witchcraft in colonial America. He has worked on numerous archaeological sites and consulted and served with many historic societies along the East Coast and beyond. Baker will give an illustrated lecture on "Witchcraft and Conflict in Early New England" followed by a book signing.
