Director of Elevate & Program Manager for the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership
B.A. Gordon College
This summer marks Stephanie's 5th summer with Elevate! Elevate has been a big part of her life, and she is passionate about getting to know students and learning what they care about. As the Director of Elevate, Stephanie spends her year marketing, recruiting, and planning for the week of Elevate. She also serves as the Program Manager for the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. In that position, she coordinates competitions, lecture series, and workshops to empower student entrepreneurs at Gordon. Stephanie grew up in Afghanistan, but for the past five years has called Wenham, Massachusetts her home. When she’s not making spreadsheets and daydreaming about how to grow the program, you might find her riding her moped around the North Shore or planning her next trip abroad. Stephanie believes students have incredible potential to make a difference in the next generation, and she hopes that Elevate changes your life the way it has changed hers!
International Student Coordinator
Victor Cusato has served as the International Student Coordinator for two years. He is a Civil Engineering senior in Brazil who came to Gordon two years ago to learn more about Physics and Biblical Studies. Elevate is one of many unique things he had the chance to experience at Gordon College. Developing new skills while working with high school students is what he is most excited about. With two other Gordon students, Victor holds a pending patent for a revolutionary eyelash curler, LaLata, a product of their startup that won second place in the annual Social Venture Challenge at Gordon. He has a pretty busy schedule as the International Student Coordinator for Elevate, but still finds time to be part of a band (Cultura Santa) whose second album is about to be released filled with Victor’s keys and synths. For him, developing relationships is one of the pillars of a well-lived life and to do so there is nothing better than a Bible, coffee and quality time.
