Balance and Mobility Summer Program

The Balance and Mobility Summer Program is a program (mid May through mid June) that focuses on the unique needs of the ever-increasing population of older adults who suffer from balance-related problems.
This summer, the Department of Kinesiology is offering a learning opportunity for students interested in not only furthering their understanding of one of the most significant health-care concerns facing older adults - falls - but also in gaining hands-on experience in clinical and exercise approaches to fall prevention and healthy aging. This course provides a unique blend of content coverage and practical application where students learn and discuss relevant concepts and then apply them in a concurrent internship experience. Academic credit is offered for this course at a reduced rate of $350.00 per credit. For more specifics, please click on the Summer Program link here.
