About CCS

MISSION
The Gordon College Center for Christian Studies (CCS) develops, promotes and coordinates opportunities for Christian scholars to deepen and broaden public conversations about the great human issues in the Academy, the Church and the culture.

The Programs
Whether sponsoring individual scholars, creating small gatherings of Christian thinkers or organizing large public conferences, CCS exists to benefit the academic, ecclesial, and cultural communities through research, writing, performance and respectful conversations across disciplines, between academic institutions, among church traditions and with the larger culture.

The mission and programs of the CCS serve the faculty and students of Gordon College, both by bringing engaging thinkers, issues and events to the Gordon campus and by magnifying the gifts and wisdom of the Gordon community to the larger academy, church and culture.
