Career Services recognizes how vital it is to have diverse partners, advisors, supporters and friends to advance and deepen our programming and to increase the network of professionals to advise students about industry expectations and roles. Support from individuals or organizations makes a difference in the lives and career paths of our students.
Career Services hosts a growing number of recruitment events including a business and STEM fair and a graduate and professional school fair in the fall as well as a job and internship fair in the spring. In addition to recruiting candidates from Gordon, companies and organizations are also able to sponsor these events to provide greater visibility. Gordon College is changing the landscape of career development for our students through active planning of a new Center for Personal and Professional Development. More comprehensive services, early career advising, greater exposure to organizations and professionals, increased engagement with internships and research are just some of the advances being developed to equip students with a deeper understanding of and professional preparation for pursuing their calling. Unique opportunities exist for contributing to the new Center and for funding Gordon Global Internships.
