Pam Lazarakis
Director of Career Services
Pam Lazarakis has worked in Career Services for 13 years. She is a Gordon alumna and majored in Biblical and Theological Studies and completed the secondary education requirements in social studies. Her more recent studies have been in leadership and business ethics and she has special interest in career topics of: the theology of work, best practices for facilitating student and alumni connections for career advancement and helping others find effective strategies for presenting their credentials and experiences to employers in cover letters, resumes and interviews.
Favorite view of campus: The autumn leaves reflecting on Coy Pond on a fall morning.
Favorite place on the North Shore: It’s a tie: Halibut Point Reservation in Rockport and Appleton Farms in Ipswich.
Rita Smith Dove
Associate Director of Career Services
Rita Smith Dove’s educational background is in psychology and counseling and she has worked in Career Services for 15 years with interests in personality type and how it impacts career direction, graduate school advising and marketing student experiential education for a professional job search.
Favorite View of the Campus: Standing in front of the chapel on a fall or spring/summer day and looking at the pond and especially towards Jenks. The seasons' foliage is breathtaking and there is often some fog or haze that gives the landscape a both a calming and exhilarating effect.
Favorite place on the North Shore: Any ocean view—in Beverly Farms, Manchester and especially Rockport. I love it—could stay there for hours.
Ginny Saulnier
Administrative Assistant
Ginny has worked at Gordon for 18 years with the last six in Career Services. She is a Gordon alumna and majored in Elementary Education. More recently she has taken courses in accounting, business law and music history. Two of her children are also Gordon alumni. Ginny enjoys making Career Services a fun place to visit coupled with helping students and alumni find specific career resources.
Favorite view on campus: Geese and their goslings waddling around campus.
Favorite place on the North Shore: Wingaersheek Beach
