Coast to Coast Schedule

SAMPLE SCHEDULE
Schedules are subject to change. You will receive your final schedule upon arrival. 

SATURDAY

7–9:30 a.m.
Airport Shuttles
For students traveling alone.
We provide transportation to and from Boston Logan Int’l Airport, Manchester Boston Regional Airport, South Station-Boston and local train stations.
 
11:30 a.m.–12:50 p.m. Lunch
Enjoy lunch in our dining hall before heading into Boston.
 
1–6:15 p.m.
Boston Day!
Spend a day in Boston! Take a Duck tour--explore the city. Remember to bring spending money for dinner in Faneuil Hall.
 
8:15 p.m.
Evening Activities
Enjoy activities around campus including dinner, games and time to connect with other visiting students!
9:30 p.m. Ice Cream Bar

SUNDAY
8–9:30 a.m.
Breakfast
Grab breakfast in our dining hall.
 
9:40 a.m. Worship at a Local Church

1–5 p.m.

Cape Ann Tour (Manchester-by-the-Sea, Gloucester and Rockport)

Complimentary lunch provided. Please bring spending money if you wish to purchase any souvenirs.

5-6:30 p.m.
Dinner on Campus
Enjoy dinner with your overnight host in our dining hall.
 
7:15 p.m. Optional: Theatre Production (request tickets at admissionsevents@gordon.edu) -OR- Music Peformance
10 p.m.
Catacombs
Worship with us at our student led, candle-lit, acoustic service.

 

MONDAY
8:15 a.m.
Check in and Welcome Address
All are invited to attend this welcome.
We’re so glad you’re visiting with us today! Join us for an address from Gordon College President D. Michael Lindsay and other administrators.
 
9:10 a.m.
Visit a Class
This option is for students only.
Please refer to your “Visit a Class” handout located in your welcome packet available the day of your visit.
 
9:10 a.m.
The Application Process and Scholarships
This session is for parents and other visiting guests.
This session will explain the application process and merit-based scholarships.

10:20 a.m.
Chapel
All are invited to attend this session.
11:15 a.m.
This session is for siblings only, ages 5–17.
Siblings are invited to have lunch and participate in age appropriate activities.

Campus Tour*
All are invited to participate in this tour.
Explore campus with a current student.

Gordon Student Panel
All are invited to attend this session.
Meet current Gordon students and discover why they chose Gordon. Panelists will share their experiences and welcome questions.
 
2:10 p.m.
Academic and Student Life Session
All are invited to attend this session.
Meet with faculty from each of our majors and staff representatives from student programs. Pick up your free Gordon t-shirt at this time!
 
3 p.m.
Visit Admissions
Stop by the Admissions Office to drop off your survey, ask questions or connect with an admissions counselor. Thank you for visiting!
 
3:20 p.m.

Additional Visit Information

For questions regarding financial aid, individual appointments can be scheduled with the Student Financial Services office on the day of your visit.

If you requested an admissions interview on your registration form, an interview space has been reserved for you. If you did not register for an interview and would like one, we are happy to grant one as availability allows. Admissions interviews are available for seniors and transfers and are a required part of the application process. Interviews are open to juniors during the April Gordon Experience Day.

Complimentary coffee and tea will be served in the lobby of Frost Hall throughout the day.
