QUALIFICATIONS

Gordon IN Boston welcomes applicants from any academic major who has an interest in engaging the new urban landscape and the diverse issues of justice and peace, economic and social change. From ministry to sustainable development, professional practicum and leadership opportunities, Gordon IN Boston enables students to explore, side-by-side with urban professionals the critical questions young urban professionals and those with a heart for the city.

Gordon IN Boston considers applications from students from any college/university who can: 

  • Make the statement of Christian faith expected of all students at Gordon College.
  • Agree to abide by the College’s behavioral standards
  • Satisfy criteria set by the Global Education Office
  • Have Sophomore standing or above.
  • Have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Overview
This application requests information that will be used to evaluate your eligibility for a Gordon-sponsored program. Gordon College reserves the right to grant admission to these programs based on academic performance, moral maturity and personal motivation. All students applying for Aix must have the approval of a French professor. Students may apply either for the full-year program or for a semester.

It is the student's responsibility to print off the reference forms below and request those of faculty and student affairs references in a timely manner.

The following supporting items must be received by the Global Education Office by the application deadline:

DEADLINES

Fall Semester:

  • Applications for Gordon IN Boston are accepted on a rolling admission basis. Students will receive decisions upon applications with three days of the receipt of all application materials. Applications received until April 7. 

Spring Semester:

  • Applications for Gordon IN Boston are accepted on a rolling admission basis. Students will receive decisions upon applications with three days of the receipt of all application materials. Applications received until October 20.

Please note: earlier applications allow more time for the arrangement of internships.
