On January 20, 2007 the Gordon College Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Highlander Club inducted its first Athletics Hall of Honor candidates. Six former student-athletes were honored over an intimate dinner in the President's Dining Room in the Lane Student Center on the campus of Gordon College. The Presidents Dining Room hosted the first Hall of Honor Class, the evening was filled with sharing of memories from the athletes' time at Gordon and Barrington.

Each inductee was presented by his or her former coach or fellow player. Family members of the inductees were present along with current coaches, faculty, and staff.
