The fine arts at Gordon College enrich the lives of students and the local community with academic majors and study abroad programs, student clubs and internships, and a vibrant calendar of contemporary art exhibitions, film screenings, jazz and classical ensembles, and theatre performances. Barrington Center for the Arts

In 1999, Rhodes Gymnasium became Barrington Center for the Arts, one of the most modern centers for the performing and visual arts north of Boston. Barrington was named in honor of Barrington College, which merged with Gordon in 1985. Barrington features a cinema, two contemporary art galleries, a theater, studios for artists, filmmakers, and actors, a woodshop and costume shop, and faculty offices.

Phillips Recital Hall

Phillips Music Center

Phillips Music Center was designed by William L. Rawn, the world-renowned architect behind Boston Symphony Orchestra's Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood. A model of optimal acoustic performance and architectural creativity, Phillips continues to astound audiences and performers alike. Student and faculty recitals, master classes, chamber music concerts, guest artist performances, and other special events fill the recital hall throughout the year.
