U.S. Army schedules helicopter airlift of Gordon College ROTC cadets

WENHAM, MA - On Friday, April 18, two U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters will touch down on Winter Island in Salem to airlift 25 cadets enrolled in the Reserved Officers Training Corps (ROTC) from Gordon College, Salem State College, and Endicott College to Fort Devens in Ayer. Two Black Hawk helicopters will touch down to transport the cadets to military exercises at Fort Devens. The first helicopter will land at  5:05 p.m. with a second landing scheduled for  5:55 p.m. 

The Gordon College cadets are members of the Paul Revere ROTC Battalion which also includes cadets from MIT, Wellesley College, Tufts University and Harvard University.

The ROTC cadets from Gordon College scheduled to participate in the military exercise  include: Wesley Carter of Highland Falls, N.Y., Daniel Berkowitz of Fresno, Calif., Joshua Broughton of Centreville, Va., Bryce East of Milford, Conn., Benjamin Duncan of North Adams, Jacob Brooks of Loudon, N.H. and John Bradley of Lisle, Ill.
