Gordon College Welcomes Yaliang Zhao, Ph.D, As a New Professor of Biology

WENHAM, MA-Yaliang Zhao of Andover, MA, recently joined the faculty at Gordon College as a professor of Biology.

Zhao holds a Ph.D. from the Northwestern University Institute for Neuroscience. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peking University.

Zhao's roles outside of the classroom include Senior Scientist and Scientific Consultant at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. She also served as a graduate research assistant at the Northwestern University Institute for Neuroscience. Also an active church member, Zhao is the Deacon of Chinese Christian Church of New England in Brookline, MA.
