Gordon College Welcomes Ellen Gilson Voth, Ph.D, As a Professor of Music

WENHAM, MA-Gordon College welcomes Ellen Gilson Voth of Rocky Hill, CT, to the music department for the 2007-2008 academic year.

Voth received her doctorate, with a concentration in choral conducting, from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford. She is a recipient of the Regents' Honor Award for Graduate Students in 2006. Voth also holds a Master of Music degree from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in New Jersey and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Wheaton College in Illinois.

Voth taught adjunct for Gordon's music department last year. She says, "it's a privilege to join a department equally committed to artistic excellence and the expression of faith in and through music."
