Gordon College Welcomes Emily A. Jarvis, Ph.D, As a New Professor of Chemistry

WENHAM, MA-Emily A. Jarvis of Wenham, MA, recently joined the faculty at Gordon College as a professor of chemistry.

Jarvis holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California in L.A. She received a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of California and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Pepperdine University.

Jarvis has served as a visiting professor of chemistry at Kenyon College and most recently worked with the Electron Physics Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She also worked as a postdoctoral research scientist for Computational Chemistry Group in Maryland.
