Gordon College Honored at The Fourth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards

WENHAM, MA-The Gordon College "Adventurous Life" advertising campaign was recently recognized at the Fourth Annual Service Industry Awards (SIAA) for its distinctive messaging and design. The third national advertising award series to recognize Gordon for their "Adventurous Life" advertisements, SIAA presented Gordon with two Bronze Awards  - "Outstanding Magazine Advertising Series Recruitment" and "Outstanding Magazine Advertising Single Ad Recruitment." 

A national panel of judges reviewed the Gordon campaign for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall break through advertising content.This internal advertising campaign was a collaboration project between designer Tim Sauder, Art Director in the Gordon College Design Center, with advertising copy created by the Office of College Communications & Marketing at Gordon.

In 2006, Gordon received a Silver Award for their campaign by the International Davey Awards. For that, Gordon was selected from over 3,500 entries that were judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), The Creative Group, ADWEEK, Fortune Small Business and OnRequest Images. The new advertising campaign also received accolades at the 22nd Annual Admissions Advertising Awards, where Gordon received two merit awards - "Outstanding Magazine Advertising Series" and "Outstanding Single Entry Magazine Advertisement."

Initiated in 2003, SIAA is the only national advertising award series created exclusively to recognize the achievements of organizations and businesses in the service industry, a significant contributor to the fields of marketing and advertising. Over 2,000 entries were submitted for this competitive service industry advertising award series.
