40 Under 40

Jesse Adams ’11, director of the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association, was among the honorees of the inaugural “Maverick PAC 40 Under 40” awards. The awardees—who represent diverse fields, including politics, business, law and entrepreneurship—were recognized at MavPAC’s July annual conference in Miami, which featured Senator Marco Rubio, Florida Speaker of the House Will Weatherford, former Governor Jeb Bush, and other prominent Republican and business leaders.

“The accomplishments of the recipients of the 40 Under 40 awards are indicative of their future contributions as leaders of our party,” said MavPAC National Vice-Chair Jay Zeidman. “We are expecting great things from this group.”

While at Gordon, Adams interned for a U.S. senator and served as Gordon College Student Association president. During his presidency, Jesse and a friend, Arthur Emma—then student body president at Boston University— convened nearly 20 student leaders from eight campuses in the greater Boston area to think about the future and to exchange ideas about how to make their campuses better.
When he’s not immersed in politics, Jesse enjoys investing, fly fishing, sailing, hunting and chess.
