United as the former Barrington and Gordon Athletes, the annual Hall of Honor Awards dinner congratulates honorees, celebrating their outstanding accomplishments on and off the playing surfaces. On January 28, the Highlander Club proudly inducted Coach Jack Augustine, Jaimee Smith Eldred and Timothy Chapman.

Jack Augustine, Coach and Athletic Director, Barrington College 1962–1974
Jack was a Barrington institution. While serving as the Men’s Basketball Coach, the teams accomplished:
Additionally, he was the Head Coach of the Chinese Men’s National Team in 1968 and served as coach to the first and only season of Gordon football in the fall of 1957. Overall he coached a total of 40 years before his retirement in 1997.
Jaimee Smith Eldred, Softball 1992–1995
Eldred was recognized for being dynamo on the diamond over the course of her four years as a Scot. During her senior season alone:
Voted the team’s most valuable player in 1994 and 1995 and team captain her senior year, she was also honored as Gordon’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year following her senior season.
Timothy Chapman, Lacrosse 1998–2001
Tim Chapman graduated in the spring of 2001 as one of the most decorated players in Gordon Men’s Lacrosse history. He finished his career earning titles that he continues to hold:
Serving as team captain from 1999–2001, Chapman helped the Scots develop into one of the premier teams in the Conference.
