Free Chamber Singer Concert at Gordon College

WENHAM, MA-Sunday, April 9, at 3:00 p.m., the Gordon College Chamber Singers will present a special free performance, An Afternoon of Lieder, featuring 19th century German music by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Brahms and other composers. The performance will be given in Phillips Recital Hall and feature an informal seating arrangement that will offer a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. Students will discuss the works they are performing and German professor Gregor Thuswaldner will provide insights on literary aspects related to some of the lyrical elements.
