2. Descend into the Catacombs
Students play an active role in shaping the spiritual life of Gordon College. Spend a Sunday night before a visit day and be part of Catacombs—student-led, night-time, acoustic worship in the A.J. 3. Take a Duck Tour of Boston
Prospective students can enjoy going on one of Boston’s “Duck Tours.” Each tour is lead by a friendly tour guide called a ConDUCKtor, who will give you fun and interesting facts about Boston. Take a ride on a real World War II amphibious vehicle as you view some of the city’s most famous sites, such as Bunker Hill and the Boston Common. Available on Gordon Experience Days...

4. Meet Professors in Your Area of Interest
Meet Gordon College’s dynamic faculty in these quick video interviews. Many are nationally recognized, top scholars in their fields, yet down to earth and accessible to students. 5. Soak in the Atmosphere
All college students need special things to keep them sane: Starbucks coffee, Panera paninis, Facebook, TV on DVD, a pencil behind the ear. These unite to form a unique experience that is known by any student of higher education. While the atmosphere may vary from campus to campus, a universal college culture can be recognized from Harvard to UCLA to Westmont and back to Gordon. Read more…

6. Experience Science in an Interactive Lab
If you’re interested in biology, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, kinesiology, physics, health professions (including a premed concentration) or 3-2 engineering, this is the day for you! 7. Find Out Why They Call it "Singing Beach"
Singing Beach, in nearby Manchester-by-the-Sea, was recently named by about.com as one of the “Ten Most Memorable Things to Do on the Massachusetts North Shore.” It is named for its sand, which, when dry, “squeaks” beneath your feet. Come visit Gordon and discover the natural vitality of New England that left poet Edna St. Vincent Millay longing for the "…salt smell of the sea once more." About the area...

8. Challenge Your Assumptions at Chapel
"'Holiness' is one of those words that seem to have fallen out of fashion even in Christian circles. Seldom do we speak about holiness: what it is, its presence or absence from a given situation, how to pursue it.. I must admit that derogatory phrases like ‘holy-roller’ or ‘holier-than-thou’ come to mind pretty quickly when I hear the term." Learn more about Faith at Gordon...

9. Have some Jud's Suds in Chester's Place
Some students love Chester’s Place for the crackling wood fire on a fall evening. Others gravitate towards the space for its unique tavern layout as they socialize with friends. But now there is one new reason to gather there. Read more…

10. Check Out Christian Ministries at Gordon
Find out about Gordon’s philosophy of incarnational ministry—“the pattern of ministry Jesus modeled and the same one that we can model today,” says Christian ministries professor Bob Whittet. “We walk with people where they are in life and bring Jesus with us as we minister in his name."
