at the Center for Faith and Inquiry at Gordon College

Mission of the Center
The Center for Faith and Inquiry is dedicated to promoting first-order scholarly work, reflection, creativity, and conversation, drawing from Christian intellectual and spiritual traditions, the various academic disciplines, and the wisdom found in societies and cultures at large. The insights and ideas derived from our work aim to serve Gordon College, the Body of Christ, and the common good.

The Center invites committed and interested students to serve in positions of proximity to the teaching, scholarly, and professional staff and faculty at the Center, in areas important for the Center's work and the student's own vocational development. These areas include Scholarship & Research, Journalism & Writing, Event & Program Management, and Finance & Administration. Apprentices will be assigned according to current need, and will serve in more than one of these areas. Students with demonstrated professional writing and administrative experience; previous attendance at and ongoing appreciation for Center events and programs; a van license; and the necessary space in their 2014-15 schedule are especially encouraged to apprentice.
