ACS Student Chapter
We, as a chapter, are striving to give students interested in chemical sciences opportunities to pursue professional training, community service, social opportunities, and an understanding of the interaction between the Christian faith and scientific disciplines.

Gordon-in-Lynn
"The first words that come to mind when thinking of community engagement in Lynn are probably not "redox reactions," "electrons," and "cubic centimeters converted to milliliters." Yet, for Ben Stewart, the mission of Gordon’s chapter of the American Chemical Society is perfectly compatible with the tutoring that he does at La Vida Inc. every Friday afternoon."—Ben Skinner, '11

Cookies and Scholarships
The Gordon College Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society ran a cookies-in-a-jar fundraiser during the holidays and it was a great success. Primarily through the support of the Gordon College family on campus, the chapter was able to allocate $1,300 directly targeted for “scholarship” awards for future freshman chemistry students.
Join us for the next cookie-in-a-jar event.
