The Gordon College Lacrosse Camp is designed to cater to the local youth lacrosse community. Campers are placed in groups based upon both age and skill level which makes it a pleasurable experience for all campers, no matter how long they have been playing. Our goal is to teach each camper new skills, but we also want them to have fun and develop a sincere love for the game.
A typical day at camp would include a morning session where campers are broken into groups and learn position specific skills. At the conclusion of the morning session we typically have a skills contest (fastest shot etc.) for each age group. We then take a mid-day break for lunch, swimming and a lacrosse video. In the afternoon the campers are broken up into teams. Each team has an individual practice, and the day concludes with a game.
The camp staff is comprised of college and high school coaches as well as current college players.
