WENHAM, MA. -- Gordon Women's Soccer placed three athletes on the All-TCCC Second Team, as Caitlin Nedde (Colchester, VT), Christin Peters (Feeding Hills, MA), and Emily Purinton (Boxborough, MA) were all honored.
A first-year forward, Nedde has enjoyed one of the finest seasons by a Gordon newcomer in recent memory. She leads the Scots in goals with 13 and finished 3rd in the conference in goals scored during league play.
Christin Peters anchored the Gordon midfield with strong two-way play, finishing second on the team with 4 goals and 6 assists. The senior co-captain had a crucial goal to tie the match against Salve Regina in last Saturday's quarterfinal.
Emily Purinton has provided experience and solid defense to the Scots. Also a senior co-captain, Purinton has played both midfield and defense for Gordon.
The women will take their current 3-game winning streak up against Endicott in the conference semifinals on Wednesday, at 4pm in Beverly.
